Retired and Pet Goats
The goats listed here have been retired from breeding, or have never been bred due to being neutered, infertile, or having conformation flaws. We love our pets, and they are valued members of our herd and family.
In honor of our beautiful "Momma Goat",
who gifted her loving and mischievous personality
to her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids.

RGCh Pocket Sized BT Waning Moon
3/26/2006 - 5/23/2020
Our wonderful old girl made it to 14 years old before she told us that it was time. We are so grateful to have enjoyed her company for the years we had her. I cherish each memory I've made with this goofy, stubborn, loving, wonderful goat. I miss her every day.
Three Havens Miracle Max
DOB: 4/18/2013 - 11/5/2021
In a freak occurrence, Max and Valentino both contracted deer worm around the same time. Max initially responded so well to treatment that he, being the wonderful soul he was, helped Valentino get up and would walk next to him to keep him steady. After Valentino's passing, Max began to decline. He is now laid to rest next to his best friend, and I hope they're getting to play and snack together all they want across the rainbow bridge. Max was the crown jewel of our buck pen, he produced incredible kids. He is irreplaceable.

Dreahook M Valentino
2/3/2013 - 12/11/2020
In 2018, my wonderful Val contracted deer worm. Despite multiple rounds of treatment and increasing lameness, he was such a happy and good boy. Eventually I had to make the call to put him down when he stopped being able to enjoy his life. He was my special buddy. He never let the other bucks rough-house around me. He was truly one of a kind. I have two kids and a wonderful grand-kid out of him, all of which remind me of him in different ways.

Mr. Sandman
4/7/2016 - 7/5/2023
Sandy was a large baby who was part of a difficult delivery, so he needed some help to get healthy and strong. He's now our gentle giant, who all of the goats love. He has a kind heart, and takes good care of his old, retired mom by watching over her and keeping her warm on winter nights.
We were completely gutted to lose Sandy at a young age. He was irreplaceable, the glue of the herd and so deeply loved. Words can't capture the worth of our angel boy. I was lucky to be his caretaker.

Three Havens Twinkletoes
3/19/2014
We retired Twinkles after a difficult kidding that required vet assistance. She's our resident diva, and enjoys being spoiled. She's a happy pet now.

End of the Line Busy Bee
3/3/2011
We retired Bee after it became clear that pregnancy and delivery were becoming too difficult for her. She is now the oldest of our goats. She is always surrounded and protected by the offspring of hers that we have retained. She has been an excellent mom to every one of her babies, which has obviously paid off with how loyal they are to her now.

Three Havens Patti D.
4/25/2012
Patti is one of my heart goats and is invaluable. She was one of the first kids born here. Patti never came into heat and was never interested in bucks. Patti takes her role as herd queen and protector seriously as she watches over the others, only relaxing when she has her herd around her and feels they are safe.
Warrior Xena
3/28/2014
Xena was just a tiny button of a baby that we were shocked made it. After pouring so much effort into her, it was too hard to let her go. Her size and the angle of her rump is the reason we never bred her. She is a wonderful girl with a lovely personality.
Three Havens V Romeo
3/24/18
Romeo has been wethered so he can enjoy the spoiled pet life with our girls. Thank you to everyone who gave the rest of our bucks a loving home!

Gonzo
4/10/20
Since I pretty much stayed on the farm in 2020, when Gonzo was born weak and rejected by his dam I was able to pour all of my energy into him. Of course that resulted in a very close bond. Gonzo has matured into a little gremlin who terrorizes the other much bigger goats, and we adore him.
